Today it is raining in Austin and I just read a few good articles about things going on in Austin such as The Colt McCoy wedding this month, the huge bridal/sample sale starting tomorrow at the Renaissance Austin Hotel!! What a great opportunity for those that are looking for a wedding dress to save some serious money!! Centex Homes apparently built a home on a pond and then sold it without the certificate of occupancy!!! Austin’s water utility is offering to recycle your old toilets that you’re replacing with high efficiency toilets.
According to the American Statesman 20,000 toilets were replaced last year by, us, utility customers. That’s a lot of toilets and according to them… we are the only city in Texas offering this service!! How cool is that!! Just another tidbit that makes Austin unique!!
What else that is so unique right now are the still historically low mortgage rates.
It is by far a rare opportunity, just like it is for those that are wedding dress shopping to find their ideal $3000 wedding dress at the bridal sample sale, mentioned above, for $1500!! How great would that be!! You just saved $1500 dollars that you can now use to pay for your honeymoon.
